My friend’s daughter had a 2nd birthday coming up so I wanted to make her a backpack as she’s starting preschool in the Fall.
I have made some great toddler backpacks in the past, but I wanted to make something bigger this time. I had my original tutorial and some additional backpacks I made with the original pattern.

For this backpack, I made it the same way as the others, but my pattern itself was larger.
Fabric: 18″ h x 13.75″w
Two pieces of both inner and outer fabric.
Straps: Ribbon or Fabric folded over (2 pieces that are 21.5″x5″)
Using the prior tutorial, I sewed my backpacks together… I used ribbon for the straps on the My Little Pony inspired backpack and made straps for the Paw Patrol inspired backpack.

This is the one that I made for my son.
