Hey, it’s Danielle, and today I’m here to tell you about the Moon Pod. The company sent me these to review, and in this blog post, I will share my experience with the Moon Pod beanbag chair. These ‘chairs’ are beanbags for adults- they have bolsters available to support your back and neck, and even ottomans! Let’s dive into it!

Unboxing
When you receive your Moon Pod, you’ll receive a box for each item that you purchased. In this case, I received a box for my bolster, one for my beanbag chair, and one for the ottoman. They each have a standard case with them that you can put on them.
- There are some random beads floating around when you open the box.
- Don’t use a knife to open the box because you’ll risk damaging your beanbag.
Adjusting to Your Beanbag Chair
You can use the zipper to access the beanbag interior if you want to remove from of the beads to adjust it to be less floofy. It LOOKS overstuffed, but when you sit in it, you’ll find that it’s pretty perfect in terms of the amount of stuffing. If you want it thinner though, save the extra beads for a project.
Things I Love about the Moon Pod
- Light weight
- Easy to move around
- Comfortable
- Able to use it outdoors- including by the pool if you have the outdoor cover!
- Bolster makes it comfortable to read on and more adult-friendly.
Things I Dislike
- How do y’all STORE bean bags when not in use?!
- I wish it came with the outdoor cover or allowed you to order the outdoor covers in lieu of the standard cover.
I recommend purchasing the outdoor cover for the Moon Pod. This cover not only enhances the chair’s durability but also makes cleaning a breeze. While the regular cover is easy to maintain and wash, the outdoor cover is ideal for pet owners or those looking for added convenience.
Personally, I love being able to use it outdoor so I can hold our guinea pigs, rabbits or chickens in the shade under the trees, read, or watch the kids play in the yard. It’s easy to move around because it’s so lightweight.
In conclusion, the Moon Pod beanbag chair exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, flexibility, and maintenance. It’s a versatile piece of furniture that caters to different needs and preferences.
If you’re considering adding a cozy and stylish seating option to your space, the Moon Pod is a fantastic choice.
