I’m trying to add more beans into my diet to get folate naturally. Apparently my family has a genetic issue with the MTHFR gene and folic acid via vitamins isn’t super kind to us. I’m still waiting to get genetic testing done, but I figured it never hurts to add nutrients into my diet NATURALLY… you can’t overdose on nutrients in your food (that I know of), they don’t require a prescription or even a test, and beans are packed with lots of other nutritional goodness.
