It’s officially time to do your holiday shopping! If you have a maker in your life, you may be stuck in ‘craft machine’ fatigue at this point- it’s 2026 and there’s more toys than even I know about! WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO BUY!?

I’m so excited to share this holiday gift guide for do-it-yourselfers. This list is made up of items I’ve been eyeballing for my own list or items that I already own and love.

If your crafty loved one already has it all, maybe consider making them something to store their toys on! I’ll include those ideas too.

Don’t forget the stocking stuffers!

Gifts for Crafters, 2026 Edition

#1: UV Printer

The xTool Omni O1 was just released. It’s a UV printer and the work is 90% design (yay if your maker loves playing with Canva or Photoshop) and 10% setting up the machine to do the pretty work. Learn more about the UV Printer here … or, if you’re sold already, just head over the to the xTool store to buy it: https://xtool.pxf.io/yZ5NYv.

A UV printer is a newer machine to buy for someone who loves to make things.

#2: 3D Printer

This is another set it and forget it crafty toy. I love making things with this, although I think it leaves less room for creativity and design… unless you’re savvy with 3D design.

I have the Bambu P1S which I think it a nice introductory printer. The A1 is great too. Get it on Amazon: https://link.amazon/B07tMpnn0

I also recommend picking up a tool kit to go with it. It occasionally requires maintenance and it’s a newer technology so… you’re the maintenance. Thank goodness for YouTube videos.

Ah and don’t forget to get some filament too!

This is my review of the A1 3D Printer. I apparently don’t have a review for the P1S yet: https://diydanielle.com/review-bambu-a1-3d-printer/

#3. Laser Engraver/Cutter

I have the M1 laser engraver and cutting machine and it’s fun. I really recommend buying some type of ventilation with this or rigging an attachment to vent it out a window.

Here’s my review of the M1 Laser Engraver: https://diydanielle.com/review-xtool-m1-laser-cutter/

They have newer machines now with better functions and safety features. You can check them out here: https://xtool.pxf.io/3k3Q3v

A laser cutter/engraving machine is a fun option to buy for someone who loves to craft.

#4: Cricut Maker

This is a classic. The Cricut Maker 5 is the latest machine. I think I still have the original and it’s running well. I love that these machines last.

Get the Cricut Maker 5 bundled with lots of supplies here: https://cricut.pxf.io/qWqMqn

#5: Storage Cart

Half the battle is finding a place to put everything and a rolling storage cart IS the solution. Here are some of the storage carts that I’ve built and love for my machines.

The middle one is a microwave cart, but since we built our pantry, I’ve been reusing it for my UV printer. It fits.

#6: Storage for Supplies

Things to store supplies… particularly if you help organize it all… work well for thoughtful gifts.

Build some wall storage for their Cricut vinyl as a gift.

#7: Sewing Machines and Sergers

The two machines that I use the most for sewing stuff are my sewing machine and my serger.

I love the practical machines that don’t have any fancy electronics and are just a workhorse.

The Brother 1034D Serger Overlock Sewing Machine is “the one” in terms of being (relatively) easy to use. These machines help finish edges, particularly on clothes. You need a regular sewing machine too. You can get the serger here: https://link.amazon/B0fNgUfo8

Quality thread, new needles, and sharp scissors all make great stocking stuffers.

#8: Cute Scrapbooking Paper

I don’t scrapbook… until I do. I tend to use scrapbook paper to make notebook dividers for myself or little cards for people. I’m obsessed with the paper from Stamperia.

Here’s a few favorited products:

#9: Great Stickers… or a sticker maker!

You can make stickers using the Cricut StickerPix Print + Cut™ Ultimate Plus Bundle or with the xTool Omni O1 UV Printer. If you go with the UV Printer, make sure to buy the correct supplies and the laminator.

Or you can just buy some fun stickers for their stocking themed around whatever their favorite thing is!

#10 Acrylic Markers

I love these so much, particularly the sparkly markers. They’re a great alternative to using a paint brush and paint. I use them to paint on wood rounds and it’s… just so much fun. I also use them to write or draw over my water colors.

Get the 72 Pack of Acrylic Markers here.

#11 Watercolors

I really like this watercolor set and this paper. That watercolor set also has sparkly colors. Big fan.

Okay those are my latest, greatest obsessions. I hope this helps with your shopping this year.
