My 6 year old requested a pool party for his birthday this year and I was pretty excited- it’s a lot cheaper and easier to have this than renting an inflatable anything, seeing we put in a pool last year. I made these super cute DIY cupcake toppers with Cricut Smart Sticker cardstock and I LOVE how they came out. Here’s how to make your own!

Tutorial

Step 1: Use my pool party cupcake toppers design on Cricut Design Space and set your materials for the white and light blue colors to Cricut Smart Sticker Cardstock. Set the dark blue to medium cardstock and place that on a Light Grip mat.

Step 2: When cued, load the correct color into your machine and let it cut. Repeat for each color, as well as the mat for the dark blue cardstock.

Step 3: Peel off the light blue pool float and stick it to the center of one of your white circles.

Step 4: Remove the white circle with your pool float on it and stick it to the center of your dark blue cardstock circle.

Step 5: Grab a skewer and stick a white circle to the back of one. Place your blue circle on top, pressing the back white circle around the skewer and adhering it to the back of the blue circle. Repeat for each cupcake topper.

Step 6: Stick this in your cupcake! These came out so cute!
