DIY “I’m Yeti for a Snow Day” Shirt with the Cricut Maker

Cut out your file. Delete the second set if you’re only making one shirt.   Quick tip: be sure to place the vinyl pretty side down and choose mirror for EACH SHEET.

How to Layer the Iron On Vinyl

Time to Weed

Use your weeding tool to weed your pieces. Careful not to lose any. The main yeti and snowman outline were cut with patterned iron on.

Preheat your shirt with your heat press for 5 seconds. Place the big snowman piece in the center of the shirt. Press. Once adhered, slowly peel off the plastic sheet.

Add the Next Layer of Vinyl

Decide the next piece to adhere. I added the white face first, then the other white pieces. Next, add the brown stick arms, eyes, face, and nose.  DO NOT overlap at all.

Apply your words on the shirt wherever you please. I put the words for the hoodie on the pocket.

Add the Words

Once the words are pressed you're finished! This is such a fun project and super simple to make. My kids love it!
