How to Clean a Stroller

Most of us know how dirty a stroller can get. Between vomit and leftover food it can be nasty! Here are some tips for cleaning it.  

Stroller Cleaning Mix: I made a mild cleaner by mixing some Blue Dawn and water. You don’t want it too soapy or it will be hard to rinse.

Remove any surface debris

Use a shop vac to vacuum up any lose crumbs or debris.

REMOVE FABRIC STROLLER PIECES

Remove any fabric pieces that detach and soak them in your cleaner. Rinse.

SOAK PLASTIC PIECES

Remove any plastic pieces that detach and soak them in your cleaning bucket. Rinse and let dry.

WIPE FABRIC WITH CARDBOARD BACKING

Wipe down any fabric with cardboard backing.

PUT IT BACK TOGETHER

Once everything has dried, put the pieces back together. If you have a steam cleaner use this to sanitize your stroller.
