1. Prime your walls before adding tile and let dry. 2. If you skip primer, you need to use construction adhesive.

Once you stick the tile down, press down firmly for a few seconds to make sure it’s adhered everywhere.

I recommend starting your tiles from the floor up if you’re doing a whole wall. Use a level for the first couple of rows to ensure your tiles are straight and level

Place the tile on the left most point. Use a little pressure to pull the tile low so it's snug against the row below it. Continue to adhere from left to right on each tile.

Remove the outlet covers for your outlets. and it where it would be on the tile. Tape the area. Cut the strips apart and cut where necessary. Secure the strips piece by piece, stopping to cut off excess when needed.

There are many options for metal tile trim. We chose to use quarter round. I applied construction adhesive to the edges of the quarter round and stuck them in place. I used my brad nailer to attach them to the WOOD around my tile.

I recommend priming and painting BEFORE you nail it on though. Trust me on this! Now you can sit back and enjoy your handiwork!
