DIY  Grocery  Bag  Holders

Grocery bag holders make great gifts- I’m sure most people need a better place to store their plastic bags.

– Woven Fabric for Holder – Snaps – Elastic

– Sewing machine – Scissors – Safety Pin or Bodkin – Iron / Ironing Board

1. Cut your fabric. 2. Serge the top and bottom    edges. 3. Fold over the top edge, iron,    then sew a straight stitch. 4. Fold the fabric right sides    together, joining the two    sides that haven’t been    serged. 5. Serge and turn right sides    out. 6. Create your straps.

7. Sew right sides together 8. Attach strap to top of    grocery bag holder. 9. Add snaps. 10. On the bottom of the    holder, turn over the edge    and sew a straight stitch. 11. Sew closed the casing.

Best part? They’re a great way to use smaller scraps of fabric.  Swipe up to check out the full video tutorial.
