Do you love the look of fabric gift bags, but not the cost? I've got a super simple DIY for you so you can make your own!
– Fabric: Customize for holidays, birthdays or everyday use. – Something to use as a drawstring – Sewing machine and other typical equipment.
Decide what size bag you want and fold over your fabric, right sides together. Cut a large rectangle in the size you want.
Pin right sides together, then sew along the sides and bottoms. You can now turn the bags right sides out. I created a boxy for this.
For the drawstring, create a buttonhole and fold it over the top of the bag so it has a finished edge. Attach it to a safety pin to feed through the casing.
ENJOY YOUR FABRIC GIFT BAGS!
Once all the way through, tie at the ends and you’re finished! Easy peasy!
