HOW TO MAKE A HAND  TOWEL HOLDER

Do you get tired of the kids dropping towels off the towel bar? I sure do! I have an easy fix with this DIY hand towel holder.

SUPPLIES

– (7) White Ceiling Hooks – 1×3 Scrap Wood – Cricut Maker 3 – Smart Iron On – Cricut Heat Press or EasyPress – (7) hand towels with loops

Step 1: Cut the Wood

Cut a piece of scrap wood to the length you desired. Mine is a 19.5″ piece of 1×3 that I had laying around.

Paint your piece of wood. You can use any color you like. Leftover paint works great!

Step 2. Paint the Wood

Add hangers to the back of your wood. I used (2) Command Strips because they’re easy to hang and removable.

Step 3. Add Hangers

Add your first ceiling hook 1.75″ from the left side and one hook 1.75″ from the right side. Measure the space between, then mark where the last 5 hooks will go

Step 4. Attach Ceiling Hooks

Make your towels and add HTV to each with the day of the week they should be used on. Add HTV to the towel holder for the day of the week.

Step 5. Make Your Towels and Cut HTV

And that’s all there is to it! So far it is working out really well with my kids. Let me know if you give it a try!
