Consider adding a UV light to help clear algae.
– UV Light Sterilizer – Hack saw – Hose clamps – Good scissors – Filter Pump (installed)
Start by finding your plumbing for the pond. Make sure to turn off the electricity and plumbing in the pond for safety.
Now you want to cut the tubing in half.
This cone like piece needs to be cut down to the size of your tube (the black tube). Don’t cut it too big.
Insert the hose adapter (clear piece) into the hose. You want it to be very snug. We used a mallet to hammer it in.
Tighten the hose clamp around the tube.
Once you have all of the pieces attached, you can screw each end into the UV light. Turn on the pump to check for any leaking.
If there is no leaking, you’re ready to go! Hide the light under a fake rock if you want. Plug the light in and enjoy!
