Last month, I posted about the play shopping center/store that we made for the kids.
G has been loving it.
We play store pretty much every single day. I keep adding new items to the store and I don’t really want to drop a ton of money on play food so I’ve been using real food containers and get upcycling them.
Empty spice containers and small food containers work awesome with just a little clear packaging tape to keep them closed. G loves to shake the spices over his foods.
Just make sure your friends know that it’s all “play items” because my poor friend thought her child had raided my pantry and been dumping my spices. Haha.
Here’s the shopping center with the foods setup!
You can see some of my upcycled containers on the middle top shelf.
