Once the leash itself was completed, I went over to my gate and just figured out where to add my snaps. I looped it around both areas of the gate that I wanted it to connect to and poked my awl through to make a hole where the snaps needed to go. Then I added my snaps. All done. Very easy project that took me about 10 minutes.
