My mother-in-law gave me these GREAT wall decals with ABCs and I put them up as a border along the top of the play room wall. As Baby G (almost 19 months) has begun to LOVE hearing the ABC song, I decided to move them lower so he can touch them as we sing. I’m hoping this will help him pick up the letters easier. He is definitely happy about their new position and is trying to sing with me although it sounds a lot like “eiyi eiyi o” right now. I put them right above his head level so he could reach and point at them, but so peeling them off wouldn’t be too easy. He can definitely peel them off right now, but it takes some effort (or him standing on his toys to make it easier). Fortunately, these stick right back on and whenever I put one back up, we sing the ABCs until that letter, then go “oops there’s the D!” and put it back in its spot.
Here’s a product that seems to be similar to what we have…
Here’s a picture of where they were before, wayyyyy up high.
He works for marshmallows… “G, point to P!”
