I recently wrote another post on my first attempts at underwear using scrap knit that I received. I was really digging my “custom” underwear so I decided to make some more! I had some knit fabric I was dying to use and I decided to use it.
Be sure to check out the post to get instructions on how to sew your own underwear. It’s definitely easier as you sew more pairs- adding the FOE is the hardest part. They’re pretty fast to put together and affordable.
The main thing that I’ve learned is to make sure you use a wide zig zag stitch and get over the edge of the FOE onto the fabric. It keeps the FOE from curling.
